St. John's, Newfoundland - City Drive

Views from the bus as we begin our St. John's tour.  The town is colorful and filled with small businesses.  There is moderate new building construction.  Minor graffiti decorates a few walls.

The volunteers turned out in force to great the visitors. This is the Ruby Princess's first visit to St. John's.  I wasn't going to be on the ship for the 10:30 am ceremony with the Commodore and the Mayor.  They planned to exchange plaques celebrating this first visit.

This is the spot where there was some digging.  The water purification plant occupies the space and cleans the water in the port.
