Reykjavik, Iceland - Gullfoss Waterfalls

Gullfoss means "Golden Falls".   The Hvita river flows down three steps, then abruptly turns to tumble down a huge crevice.  I walked from one vantage point to the other.  Very pretty.

All of the layered rock must churn the water and make it so white.

Steps to view the waterfall from a higher perch.
You can see a footpath where you can walk near the edge (yikes! No guardrails!)

Our coach.
