Ladee's Travels

Parizska Street is considered the most exclusive and expensive street in all of Prague.  The street connects Old Town Square with the Chechuv Bridge and it is lined with mainly art nouveau buildings. Most of these residential buildings were built in the beginning of the 20th century.  There are also many luxury shops here. I can't tell if the gold in the windows (below) is a reflection, window tinting, or gold curtains. This building is ornate but a little dusty. The tree lined streets make it look very Parisian. These are from a side street.

It is now time to see what kind of tasty morsels are available in the gift shop.

We walked for a block or so until we found the shop "Divertido".  Divertido is located at 3609 Butler Street.  http://divertidoshop.com It has clever and interesting products.  I could not resist a nested set of measuring cups that look like the Russian dolls.  Outside, clean streets, trees and plants, and fun garbage collection containers.

We strolled a little down Kohlmarkt. I stopped in Demel to buy some chocolates. It was so hard to decide.  K went to buy some postcards, so while I was waiting I window shopped at a cute little gold and silver shop. Der Demel - great stop for Chocolates Click here to learn more about Demel.

There were plenty of souvenir shops in Vienna and you could certainly buy all that you want of a variety of items.  You need to plan ahead to have extra baggage room for your souvenirs. Stores were clearly marked.  There were plenty of T-Shirts and postcards.

Walked in to the local BIPA store to get a few things, and walked out with lipstick and some hairbands.  Take a look at what I saw in there. Same? Different?  It is like a Walgreens or CVS.
