Flagstaff, Arizona - Flagstaff Street Scenes

Image
I drove to San Francisco Street to see the shops and cafes.  Some have names on the fronts. This is a "Historic Brewing Company" with indoor and outdoor patio dining.  I decided to go to Whyld Ass Cafe.  Nice double front layout with snacks, brewed coffee and teas.  This was a spicy chipotle brownie.  I was admiring the macrame plant hanger.  The Tinderbox Restaurant  Separated by a patio, the Urban Kitchen is owned by the Tinderbox.  Nice to know that this exists. It is a little grocery store, coffee shop, tea store.  Nice to stop here before heading out for a hike to grab some to-go lunch food.  I saw the clouds reflected in my (red) jeep window.  Pretty cool.  Ambiance and old buildings.  Saw this cow on a building at a red light!  Route 66 buildings.  This is a great "Rou...

Phoenix - Cibo Urban Pizzeria Cafe

Image
It has been about five years since I stopped in this quaint cafe in the Roosevelt district of Phoenix.  It has maintained its aura...and perhaps improved.  Outdoor seating is abundant, as well as interior seating.  Breakfast menu for the weekend Saturday/Sunday hours. Opens at 10am on weekends, but check the website to make sure that hours remain the same through the Summer.

London - Ebury Restaurant and Wine Bar Meal #4

Image
We decided to eat in the wine bar area of the Ebury Restaurant for our last night.  Here are some of the offering on the wine bar menu.   Nice global selections of red wine.

London - Tom Tom Cafe

Image
Tom Tom Cafe sits across Ebury Street from the Lime Tree Hotel. During my first trip in 2006 with my sister and son, this was a little community grocery.  The second time that we came through the neighborhood in 2007, the shop was empty.  It was good to see a vibrant business in the space. The Tom Tom Cafe with the outside tables.  The inside seating area is small.

London - Ebury Restaurant and Wine Bar Meal #3

Image
We decided to go to Ebury Restaurant for meal #3.  This way, we could determine if the meal itself was good and you made a good selection, or was the menu good?  You need to try a restaurant more than one time to see if there is a consistency to the food quality and the service. Tonight I decided to mix it up a bit and order off of the menu instead of the fixed price set menu. The Ebury on the right. I passed on wine for dinner and selected a natural spring water, sparkling. For starters, I had the crab bisque with garlic croutons and chilli oil. 6.25 euro Garlic roasted cherry tomato tart tatin with fresh goat cheese Main course: Sun dried tomato and goat cheese ravioli with red pesto and rocket leaves. Roasted veal gremolata courgetta and Parmesan gratin Warm apple and cinnamon bread pudding with toffee sauce Lena was delightful!
