Reykjavik, Iceland - Gullfoss Waterfalls

Gullfoss means "Golden Falls".   The Hvita river flows down three steps, then abruptly turns to tumble down a huge crevice.  I walked from one vantage point to the other.  Very pretty.

All of the layered rock must churn the water and make it so white.

You can see a footpath where you can walk near the edge (yikes! No guardrails!)
