We left Tianjin port and sailed the Bohai Sea, and arrived the next morning in another Chinese coastal city, Dalian. Dalian has a long history as a small fishing village to the bustling city that exists today. Our tour guide started telling us all about the city and we were off on our day long tour.
Filled with high rises and new apartment buildings typical of China, this no longer looks like a sleepy fishing village.
Workers were out on a maintenance job.
We left the coastal area and started to drive up a hill.
Several houses had these brightly colored signs outside. I can't tell if this is a home decoration or if this is a restaurant.
Large homes with walled in yards.
This little girl was dressed fancy for a walk with Mom.
