Wittenberg - Street Scenes and Shopping

Spring was very evident here also and the flowering trees and planted flower boxes were beautiful.  Most of the town buildings have been renovated and painted.  If I was able to find a building in the pre-Reconciliation condition, I’ve added it. They were not easy to find. I haven't labeled any of the photos as I don't have any details but found the scenes interesting and thought that you would want to see them too.  And then I saw SCARVES!!

The town existed through centuries of changes in architecture, as shown in the roof designs of the buildings.

Wittenburg is a pretty town and I would go again to spend two or three days.  It is on a rail line which runs from Berlin to Prague.  In talking to the tour guide, she said that all of the towns that we are visiting on this tour can also be accessed via the train route.
