Paris - Food and Cookbooks

Hello to Spring in Paris!


I had posted this note while celebrating Spring in Paris and want to update it with a few other recommendations.


THE SWEET LIFE IN PARIS BY Lebovitz, David The Sweet Life in Paris: Delicious Adventures in the World's Most Glorious - And Perplexing - City David's new book is out!  I would love to get it now, but just can't consider carrying it with me.  I'll need to order as soon as I get home.  David runs "chocolate tours" in Paris and is a definite on my list for one of my trips to Paris.

While in Paris, and on the remaining part of the trip, we talked a lot about wanting to continue the wonderful food experiences once we returned home.  I have two of Julie Child's books and highly recommend them because the books contain details about technique included throughout the book, as well as wonderful recipes. Julia created this book so that the American cook would be able to create the foods without translating a French cookbook.  You can buy each book separately, or order in a set.
