Meissen - Street Scenes

We walked around Meissen for about 45 minutes.  I think that this town is doing a lot for the "cuteness".  This is a place to stop and spend a day.

Nice cafe area with tables and great views.

I should have bought this!!!

The scarves were really "girly".  Love it.

Plantings for the spring

He smiled at me...how could I resist?

Buildings are looking good with the bright colors.

The building with the wooden accents is an old winery and
is one of the most photographed buildings in Meissen.
I see why...I took about 20 photos!

Entrepreneurs offer rides through the town.  No time
when we are on the bus on our German time schedule.

Colors of spring.

These guys were used to transport mail between two buildings.

I quickly learned that "konditorei" means sweet treats!

Stuff to bring home.

Beautiful cakes in the window of the baker.

I found a building that had about six different versions
of this cement decor. I took the variety and will put
them in a different post so that we can all pick
the three best ones for a frame at home.

Beautiful stonework for the streets and sidewalks.
This was very easy on the feet, surprisingly.

A site of a new mall.
Construction is a good thing.
