Paris - Mariage Frere - Food and Fashion

We just happened to be walking by my absolute favorite tea shop.  I took a few photos so that you could see how wonderful it is (good thing that I took them before I asked, because when I asked if I could take a few pictures, they told me 'preferably not'.)

Tina stopped here and said "Wow, this really
looks like a cool Paris street." She was admiring
the bend in the street, the plantings from the balconies.

We were pretty impressed that the sugar was melted in
water so that it was ready for the iced tea. We had the small deserts and
tea. Tina ordered something peachy (turned out to be Bolero that  I could buy at my
sister's tea store in Dallas,Cultured Cup). I had Roi Montagne.

I have seen these paintings on several buildings.
Does anyone know what this is about?
All of these paintings are signed "THTF".
What in the world is this?  My new geocaching
hobby has made me very suspicious of these
types of things. (See answer to this question

Marais District is known for Jewish shops.  I thought
that this was an interesting window display.

Thank you for the photos. It looks so wonderful and inviting. I dream of it!

I'm looking on the internet and can't find THFT info. We'll keep our eyes open and see if we can figure it out.

Found it! I wasn't putting the letter in the right order.

THTF stands for Two Hands Ten Fingers, they came back in Paris with funny characters and weird architectures drawn everywhere in the streets around Beaubourg, Marais, Carreau du Temple, etc... Special report !

Note about Mariage Freres: friends decided to stop in on a Saturday for tea and lunch and were told that they needed to have reservations. If you have definite plans to enjoy service, call ahead for reservations. http://www.mariagefreres.com/boutique/UK/vt+addresses.html

The tea shop of all tea shops! My cousin Cindi would love this place. I bought her a book so she would know I was thinking of her. Trying to figure out which direction to go is very challenging here because I want to see everything.

Payson, Arizona - Ox Bow Saloon on Historic Main Street

The Ox Bow Saloon is on the National Register of Historical Places so I thought that I would drive down "historic Main Street" and photograph the saloon.  I was out very early so that I could photograph the buildings without a lot of traffic.  You can see from the long shadows that this was just after sunrise. This is the "Historical Journigan House" is now a fine food restaurant, a full bar, and an outside patio with a grill.  I took this photo so that I could remember to come here for dinner.  This is the nearby parking lot. If you look closely, you can see various horses painted on the wall.  The entrance to the street from Route 87 (the main highway that bisects the town).  This is my destination, The Ox Bow Hotel and Saloon.  Fun look to the western style front.  Special parking.
