Saturday – Land in London – FINALLY

The plane actually took off a little delayed to be able to land at our appointed time. It was a smooth flight. I slept well as I was exhausted. The plane seats actually felt comfortable after sleeping on the floor.

The line was very long to go through immigration. It moved fast, but there are so many US planes that arrive in the morning that you can’t do anything else but stand in line. There is a vital split in the hallways for the lines for the United Kingdom/European Union Passport and all others. There is a small, subtle sign. Some “other” people must have waited in the UK line, only to be sent out and to the back of the “Other” line. Frustrating. Actual questions by the immigration officer were quick and off I went to find the baggage pickup. But No luggage – AHHH. My luggage never made it to London. I filed a claim to have it sent to the hotel. We’ll be in London until early Monday morning when we go to Paris. Vera Bradley (luggage) was off on another adventure.

Coco,
I agree. Sometimes we take too much stuff and spend a lot of energy hauling our stuff from place to place. I am having a wonderful time with long discussions with Kalen. I am very fortunate to be able to spend these times and experiences with him.

Maybe I will teach him some of my superb francaise? Oui?
