Alsace, France - Wine Tasting

From the tour brochure:
The tour starts with a  drive through a picturesque landscape, romantic wine villages and parts of the famous wine route.  The first stop will be at a local winery, where you can try some of the wines during an included wine tasting.

On the next part of the excursion we will drive through the romantic, wintry landscapes of Alsace to discover the village of Gertwiller, famous for its Lebkuchen (Christmas gingerbreads).  The tour continues to the magical little town of Obernai, where we will stroll through the old quarter, delightfully decorated for Christmas. Admire the Christmas crib with its life size figures of people and animals that has been set up in the marketplace each year for centuries.  Approximately 4 hours.  Walking grade: The excursion by bus is followed by a moderate walking tour. You may need to climb some stairs.  53 euros/$55

We docked in Kehl, Germany and took a bus tour to Strasbourg in the morning. I forgot my phone so I didn't get photos for the daily summary. I did get some interesting ones with my big camera for later posting.

In the afternoon the tour took us further in to Alsace for a wine tasting. It was good to see the countryside.

Had a Cosmo as my workout reward.
