Passau, Germany - St. Stephen's Cathedral Exterior

St. Stephen's Cathedral (Dom St. Stephan) is a baroque church from 1688 and is the seat of the German Bishop of Passau and the main church of his diocese.  Click here for more info on the church on wikipedia.  I am going to use the info to point out a few things.

There are eight large bells in the bell towers.  The two heaviest hang in the south tower (right) and the others hang in the north tower (left). A ninth bell hangs near the sacristy door.

A close up view of the tower.
The statue of Mary and Jesus.
I recall that this is St. Stephen.

 The main front door.

And a welcome sign with the rules.
