Jerome, Arizona - Gold King Mine and Museum

I've been to Jerome many times over the years, but I have never visited the Gold King Mine and Museum.  A fun place with lots of stuff to see and photograph.  The entrance fee is $5 and .25 tax.  Bring cash and it is very helpful if you bring the correct change.

These fun and colorful residents rate a few photos.

There were a lot of rusty things, but also a lot of cars in great condition.

This is an old kitchen setup.

 A firetruck.

You will notice the hummingbirds as you enter the main building.  There are several feeders and nice seating in the area. Sit down, and when the humans are still the birds will flock.

The following are panoramic views from around the property.
Interior of one of the buildings with an old Studebaker.
The interior of an iron works shop.
 More stuff.
 School room interior.
One of the workers "fired up" the Power Company" and drew a crowd.  Hiss, bang and bells and whistles.

There is a large "parking lot" of a lot of other cars and trucks.
