The orangeness of this building caught my eye. |
An old cathedral in town. |
Nice green spaces set aside |
The city was packed with tourgroups. |
Different styles of building facades |
"I Love Prague" comes in all shapes and sizes. |
Bags and T Shirts. |
Key chains, cups, you name it. |
The streets wind throughout. |
Fancy jewelry |
A tea set! |
Musical decorations |
Street signs. This was not a lot of help. Good thing that they use pictures for those who don't know the language. |
Franze Kafky - museum (not the man in the photo) |
The tower. People were on top. |
There was an Easter Market in the main square. |
A lot of food and decorations to buy |
Nice stores surrounded the square. |
I decided to get a snack. As my first introduction to the currency, I selected a piece of pizza that I thought was priced for a slice. It was for the WHOLE pizza!! |
It needed a touch of the local brew. |
And topped off with a nice espresso. |
The cafes are around the perimeter of the square. The little booths are brought in for the seasonal Easter and Christmas market. |
This painted Easter egg was HUGE. |
The spires looked pretty highlighted by the late afternoon sun against a perfect blue sky. |
