Globe, Arizona - Cobre Valley Center for the Arts

It was only February but the tree in front of the Cobre Valley Center for the Arts was full of beautiful white blossoms.

 The Cobre Valley Center for the Arts is located in the old Courthouse, located at 101 North Broad Street in Globe.  The website is http://globearts.org and they also have a Facebook page.  You can keep up with the latest exhibits and classes in Fine Arts, Music, Drama, Crafts and more.

 I turned to the left and took a photo.

 And then turned to the right and took a photo.  I was then drawn to a room on the right which had exhibits of two local artists.  I spent the remaining time chatting and did not get to walk through the center. I will need to return!  I understand that there is a huge quilting event coming soon.

Globe, Arizona - Main Street Scenes

We walked along the main street in Globe.  It was a Saturday and the stores were open.  People were in town, which is always a good thing to see.  The town was clean and inviting, well cared for.

Globe, Arizona - Pickle Barrel Trading Post

The Pickle Barrel Trading Post is a treasure chest of all things southwest.  This is the place to go for at home decorations and gifts for friends and family.  The staff is really helpful and friendly.  I bought prickly pear licorice!
