Basel, Switzerland - Blue Hour Departure






Do you remember those long light strings that we saw when crossing the first bridge? The shorter streaks of light are from the bridge.










The day was grey and cold. We were a little early for the boat and got cold waiting. Luckily, we were able to board soon after arrival. A hot cup of coffee and some snacks helped me to forget that lunch was skipped.

The lights burned amber and were a delightful contrast to the post sunset blue sky. A Viking boat passed as we were pulling out, preparing to dock.
