The Importance of Story in my Life

This blog has been a wonderful way to share my life stories with my family and friends. It all started when I wanted to keep Mom updated on my trip to London and Paris with my son. I know, I know, I was 51 at the time...but I still wanted to share the daily experiences and stories with her and my sister. Friends checked in too and it was wonderful to hear their comments and sense their joy and laughter.

The blog has been an ongoing record of the importance of story in my life. Remembering how I survived 10 days in London and Paris with NO luggage...brings back the reasons for deciding to always travel light and with one carry-on. I relive the start of the Tour de France in London and all of the wonderful small restaurants that I have discovered in Phoenix after my return. I treasure the stories and the friends met along the way.

I pledge to keep up my work, through the new changes in my life as I decide on new adventures to pursue.

Many thanks to Chris Brogan and his constant push for openness and clarity. www.chrisbrogan.com/importance-of-story has given me pause to go back through my old posts and enjoy those stories once more.
