Passau, Germany - ChristkindlMarkt at Domplatz

Some views of the Christmas Market in the plaza in front of the St. Stephen's Cathedral in Passau.  This is the first market in this trip, and I am excited to get my market gluhwein mug, taste a few holiday tastes.  There are a wide variety of items for sale, some manufactured and some hand made.

 "Raclette" is a cheese delight. The large round of cheese is melted under a heat lamp and that top layer of gooey cheese is scraped off and put on bread.  There are a variety of seasonings to add to the top.

 Add a warm cup of red spiced wine (gluhwein) and a view of the Dom towers across the market, and enjoy!
