The farmers market for today was Singh Farm on Thomas Road east of 101 in Scottsdale. I have only heard of this farm once when a chef friend mentioned that he buys his fresh vegetables daily from this farm.
Not knowing what to expect, we navigated through a crowded parking lot for a prime spot. One glimpse and I knew...this was going to be good!!
A shady area in the middle of the desert.
Brilliant colors.
This is a large park like setting nestled in with vegetable fields.
Music filled the air.
There are comfortable tables and picnic areas throughout.
And a perfect backyard fire pit.
A store offers products. I could not pass up the lavender infused honey.
Beautiful breads
Sample pricing.
Heirloom tomatoes.
There was a long line for checkout so we went to the shorter pastry and coffee line to pay. The clerk couldn't weigh my heirloom tomato but was able to check out my honey...and our delicious snacks. We returned to the chairs surrounding the fire pit to chat.
I highly recommend this market.
