Schwanstetten, Germany - Saturday Dinner

We continue on the Main Danube Canal.

The evening started with a presentation on the Danube River by the cruise director. Outside the window we saw a barge decorated for the season. I spotted a bottle of Marillenschnapps at the bar and ordered a sipper. (Apricot from Wachau Valley). I chatted with Tracy and Rob (New Zealand) about the day's sights, plans for tomorrow in Regensburg, the number of locks that we  will go through while on the canal (10), and the likelihood of snow (none).

The 7PM dinner bell rang and we descended from the Panorama Lounge to the main dining room and our table #7.

Table setting and wine in anticipation.

Caprise salad

Garlic soup

Duck a L'orange

Tiramisu

Kent from New Zealand had a birthday so the dining room helped him celebrate.
