5/19/2012 - This walkway lines the water along the beginning of the Bosphorus Strait. You can see the new part of the city, a tall mast ship, and our cruise ship docked. There is a steady stream of people on the walkway.
This map shows where we drove.
Some locals crossing the modern tram lines.
Ships and taxis are available for holiday travels.
I saw these street signs and thought that I would never be able to drive here!
There is a nice view looking across the Golden Horn.
Some construction and I just notices that there is a statue behind the pole!
More fishermen out to catch a fresh dinner.
Our tour guide did a wonderful job.
There were trash bags, filled, all along the walkway. Looks like the area was just cleaned, or are these used to put trash in as you walk? Not sure, but it looked very nice and clean.
