Paris - Eiffel Tower from Trocodero

We took a local bus to the street side of the Trocodero. This is across the river from the Eiffel Tower and has great views.  We stopped to eat at a little restaurant and had yummy deserts (mid afternoon snacks).  Then...the trip to the top of the Eiffel Tower.

We took a bus to the Torcadero and stopped at
Cafe Kleber for a snack.  Touring is very exhausting!

I had an espresso and a french vanilla ice cream strawberry sundae.

Tina tried the creme brulee and has decided that it is one of the best!

The Eiffel Tower from Trocadero

We are both excited to get to the top. It is a beautiful day.

Eiffel Tower and trees decorated in pink blossoms.

One of the views from the very top!

  2. Friends visited the Eiffel Tower and took the night boat ride on the Seine River. This is a beautiful way to see Paris and the timing was perfect to see the Tower lit.

  3. While the Eiffel Tower is beautiful from all angles, it was fantastic from the Trocodero side. Not as many people on this day as during our first stroll through the park. The lines were much more manageable, so I strapped on my brave belt and rode to the top. Phenomenal! We stayed up there for quite a while just looking at the city and watching the people. In Paris, on top of the Eiffel Tower ~ you know, a typical day.
