Vienna - Cafe Mozart

Time for a snack and what better place to get out of the threatening rain than a sidewalk cafe in Vienna called Cafe Mozart.

Very elegant logo

Coffee menu

"Welcome to the wonderful world of coffee!  We are proud to
offer a wide variety of traditional Viennese coffee specialties.
Choose carefully and then surrender yourself to total enjoyment."
WOW!!! Is that an invitation?

Menu choices for the cakes.  The pictures don't make it
easier to choose.

Hmmm. What to choose? Is it polite to have 5 in one sitting?

They all look so good!

I soon became a fan of "Wiener Melange".
Half espresso, half hot frothed milk.

The waiter recommended the Sacher Torte since we
were new to the Viennese cake scene.
As we learn more about "Sacher Torte", note that this
torte does not have a round chocolate emblem on the top.
More about that later.

Cood choice. Nice chocolate. Nice cream.

The Viennese Melange. Coffee was always served
with a glass of water.

This is great advice and advice that I followed
as often as I could.
